These are large spools of pre-twisted annealed aluminum wire. Since they are annealed, they are less likely to break during animation than other types of wire you can buy.
Each spool comes in either three, five or seven twisted lengths of 2mm (0.078 inch) strands.
It's great for creating puppet armatures, making wire rigs to hold a puppet up in the air or even to create a wire surface gauge.
