AS Heat Shrink Tubing

Extend the life of your wire armatures by putting some heat shrink tubing over your joints. The bends within the wire spread out over a more gentle curve rather than being acute. If the wire should break it will also hold together better encased in the tube.

To wrap to your wire, apply heat to the tubing with a hot hair dryer or heat gun. 3 and 5mm tubing is good for up to three twists of 1/16" wire lengths. 10mm is good for 5-7 twists of 1/16" aluminum wire lengths.
