These are two part hollow plastic eyes with a seam in the center and a tear drop shape piece of plastic in the back. The pupils are very realistic and great for puppets.
For animation they can be used as-is or modified to rotate. This can be done by using a pair of pliers to remove the tear-shaped plastic piece. Epoxy putty (or polymer clay) can be used to re-sculpt the back of the eye to become round.
